The CPE CCJ is thrilled to present a musical creation that showcases the creativity and mastery of the French language by children aged 2 to 5.
Funded by the Ministry of Culture and Communications, this exceptional project involves 178 young apprentices who will interpret, for the first time on stage, French songs written specifically for them by author-composer Victor Ménard.
For this premiere, where childhood innocence meets the wisdom of age, in a burst of creativity and where music is the universal language that unites, our young talents will be accompanied by professional musicians.
“Victor Ménard, the driving force behind this project, was the leader of the a cappella vocal group La Bande Magnétik from 1987 to 2010. He is also the lead designer and performer of La petite école du jazz, a family show that has enjoyed great success at the Montreal International Jazz Festival. For over three decades, he has played the role of professor in this show, which was presented twice a day, every day, during all editions of the festival from 1989 to 2020.
His rich career, marked by his achievements as a producer, director, author, composer, and performer, testifies to a deep passion for voice, cinema, and young audiences.”
