Simon Leoza (formerly known as Tambour) is a Montreal-based multi-instrumentalist and composer whose pieces are at times contemplative and sensitive, at other times lively and poignant, straddling indie classical, pop and electronic music. Leoza is known for combining his musical world with scenic art and cinematic universes, earning his projects the ADISQ award for best lighting design and projections, as well as a nomination at the 2021 JUNO awards (Music video of the Year).
The artist has also composed music for several short films, documentaries, plays and dance productions, including the short film Invincible, by Vincent René-Lortie, nominated at the 2024 Oscars.
Following the success of his debut album Albatross and a tour of over fifty concerts across Quebec, Simon Leoza comes back with his new album ACTE III, a kaleidoscope of vibrant colors and bold contrasts inspired by the movement and abundance of the human experience.
