Soleil Launière, an Innu multidisciplinary artist from Mashteuiatsh, unveiled her debut album Taueu in fall 2023, exploring themes of language identity, femininity and matriarchy. On stage, with seasoned CHANCES musicians (Chloé Lacasse, Geneviève Toupin, Vincent Carré) and Simon Walls, she combines vocal harmonies and strong percussion with performance art. This intriguing new soul-roots project transports the audience into a deep and gripping experience.
